The Base Layer of our mattresses provides support to the TEMPUR® components. The AirFlow System™ Base Layer increases circulation to the TEMPUR® components enhancing their pressure relieving properties. Additional Base Layers provide additional cushioning and support

Comfort Layer

The Comfort Layer of our mattresses is a softer formulated TEMPUR® material, enhancing initial responsiveness and increasing overall comfort (plush effect).

Density

Higher density results in greater durability, increased support and enhanced sensitivity. Benefits of TEMPUR® materials are proportionally enhanced as density is increased or decreased. All products produced by Tempur-Pedic have a minimum density of 5.3 lb/ft3. We believe this makes our products superior to knock-off brands, which have an average density of only 2.5 – 4 lb/ft3.

Open-Cell

TEMPUR® material is "open cell" and polyurethane based. It is NOT latex or conventional foam. The open cell structure is breathable and promotes air flow. Air, water and gel systems are all "closed" systems that displace pressure instead of absorbing and relieving it. Air is pushed out of the TEMPUR® cells when pressure is applied. When the pressure is removed, the cells automatically "reinflate" to return to their original shape. This breathable structure also promotes the dissipation of heat to keep individuals cool and comfortable.

Support Layer

The Support Layer of our mattresses is a firmer, more supportive TEMPUR® material, distributing body weight evenly across the surface helping to achieve optimum circulation. It provides therapeutic relief by supporting the body in perfect alignment.

TEMPUR-Flex™ Dynamic Support Technology

TEMPUR-Flex Dynamic Support Technology refers to any one of several support layer/core configurations designed specifically to interact with TEMPUR® material to create the unique and buoyant sleep experiences provided by our "Bella" line of products.

TEMPUR®

A highly dense, temperature and weight sensitive, extra durable, pressure-relieving material manufactured by Tempur-Pedic® and used ONLY in Tempur-Pedic® branded products.

TEMPUR - HD®

A reformulated, higher density (7.0 lb/ft3) version of our proprietary TEMPUR® material. TEMPUR-HD® provides unmatched pressure relieving comfort and body-conforming support.

TEMPUR-TEX®

A three layer textile woven from fine polyester filaments to keep you cool, dry and comfortable.

20 Year Limited Warranty: Swedish Sleep System

Tempur Production USA, LLC ("Tempur-Pedic") guarantees that we will, at Tempur-Pedic's option, replace or repair purchaser's Tempur-Pedic® mattress if it is defective due to faulty workmanship or materials, subject to the limitations described in this warranty.

This limited warranty does not include a normal increase in softness of the TEMPUR® pressure-relieving material which does not affect the pressure-relieving qualities of the mattress.

This warranty covers:

• deterioration causing the mattress to have a visible indentation greater than three-fourths (0.75) of an inch that is not associated with a sag in the foundation or adjustable bed base; and
• any physical flaw in the mattress that causes the TEMPUR material to split or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling (as outlined in the Mattress Use & Care Instructions).

Year 1 through 10 — Full Coverage
During the first ten (10) years of this warranty, Tempur-Pedic will not charge purchaser to repair or replace purchaser's mattress if it is deemed defective, but any transportation costs associated with repairs or replacements are purchaser’s responsibility.

Year 11 through 20 — Prorated Coverage
During years 11 through 20 of this warranty Tempur-Pedic will, at its option, repair the mattress at a handling cost to purchaser, or replace the mattress at a prorated charge to purchaser plus transportation costs. If Tempur-Pedic replaces the mattress, the prorated replacement charge purchaser pays will depend on when the mattress is replaced.

*If the mattress is replaced during the eleventh year of this warranty, the prorated replacement charge purchaser pays will be fifty (50) percent of the original purchase price.

• If the mattress is replaced after the eleventh year but before this warranty expires, the prorated charge purchaser pays will increase by five (5) percent for each subsequent year of the prorated period (i.e., 55% of the original purchase price if replaced during year twelve; 60% of the original purchase price if replaced during year thirteen, etc.)

Tempur-Pedic® mattresses are designed to work on a firm, solid-surface, non-spring foundation or adjustable bed base that is structurally capable of supporting the weight of purchaser's Tempur-Pedic mattress. This warranty and other performance guarantees are based on tests conducted on “sets” that consist of our mattresses and foundations like these. THEREFORE, IF PURCHASER USES INAPPROPRIATE FOUNDATIONS, BOX SPRINGS, OR ADJUSTABLE BED BASES WITH THIS MATTRESS, SUCH USE WILL VOID THIS WARRANTY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Tempur-Pedic may require purchaser to provide proof of the quality of the foundation for the mattress if purchaser makes a claim under this warranty.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has created the Standard for the Flammability (Open Flame) of Mattress Sets in Federal Register 16 CFR Part 1633. The foundation used with purchaser's mattress, unless specified for use as the particular foundation for the mattress purchased, should not be construed as 16 CFR Part 1633 compliant.

If applicable, the cover for the mattress is warranted for two (2) years from the date of purchase against faults in material or workmanship. If Tempur-Pedic replaces the cover for the mattress, Tempur-Pedic will replace it with the current style of cover available for the mattress, which may be a different color or material than the original cover.

If the mattress, foundation, or cover is physically abused, damaged, burned, cut or torn, this warranty is void.

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the product. An original purchaser is one who purchases the product directly from Tempur-Pedic or an authorized retailer of Tempur-Pedic. If purchaser is not the original purchaser of this product, he/she takes it “as is” and “with all faults.” If the purchase of this mattress was not directly from Tempur-Pedic, proof of purchase will be required to demonstrate that purchaser is the original purchaser and eligible to make a valid claim under this warranty.

In the event a warranty claim is filed and a warranty replacement is deemed necessary, purchaser will be required to surrender the original product to Tempur-Pedic at the time of replacement.

This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights, and the purchaser may also have other rights, which may vary from state to state.

PLEASE RETAIN THIS WARRANTY AND ORIGINAL PROOF OF PURCHASE FOR AT LEAST 20 YEARS FROM YOUR DATE OF PURCHASE.
