New Suspension



High-centering is one of the biggest problems a power-chair user faces. To address this issue, Quickie engineers designed a dynamic suspension system that simultaneously lifts the rear casters when the front casters elevate. Result: the drive-wheel stays on the ground and high centering is avoided.

Available in 2 Versions



The Quickie Rhapsody is available in 2 different chair configurations: Quickie Rhapsody CB (Captain's seat) and the Quickie Rhapsody SB (Single option tilt). This dynamic versatility ensures the Rhapsody's compact mid-wheel performance is available to meet the widest range of clinical needs. (See HCPCS code listings below.)

Multi-Adjustable Seats



Whether it is the captain's seat or single option tilt seat, "adjustment" is the Rhapsody's key word. For example, the captain's seat features a unique depth adjustment that covers 3 seat sizes for every width. The single option tilt seat features 4" of width adjustment and 4" depth adjustment, and both seats include back-angle adjustment and armrest position adjustment.



VR2 Joystick and Controller



The VR2 Joystick and Controller offer a host of new electronic features and options. A few of these include: torque control, tremor dampening, joystick inversion, and a 60 amp constant max-output that is ideal for climbing ramps and hills.

Moving in confined quarters can be a challenge for any power chair. The Rhapsody™ makes this easy with a 23.5" wide by 32.5" long compact footprint.

The Quickie Rhapsody SB provides advanced rehab seating for users with specific positioning needs. The ASAP (Adjustable Seating And Positioning) accommodates a multitude of sizes, backrest angles, and armrest positions. It's available with a solid backrest that features a detachable headrest and swing-away lateral supports. Most of all, adjusting the ASAP seat is simple and quick and doesn't require switching or replacing parts.

The Quickie® Rhapsody™ features a true center-wheel drive that allows users to virtually turn on a dime. Center-wheel drive also helps prevent fish-tailing at high speeds, which can be a problem with a more front-wheel-drive centered chair.

Legs, backs and necks are not rectangles. For this reason, the Rhapsody's captain's seat was designed with an ergonomic forward-mounted headrest, a thoracic lateral hug, a lumbar support, a built-in abductor, and two built-in adductors.

For users who really want to get out and go, the Quickie® Rhapsody™ is available with an optional extended-range 50 Ahr battery pack.

The Rhapsody's off-board charger can be conveniently stored and connected inside the shroud so that it replicates an on-board charger. This marries the convenience of an on-board with the easy serviceability of an off-board.
