The Quickie Prelude stands on the crossroads of mid-wheel drive performance and aesthetics. Mid-wheel drive



Mid-wheel drive maneuverability is an ideal solution for confined environments. Quickie's response to this need is a light duty mid-wheel drive.



Variety of Seat Options



The Prelude ships standard with an active low-back seating system. For users who want more support, a high-back captain-style seat with headrest and 40° of recline is also available.



Synchronized Front Suspension



The Prelude's Synchronized Front Suspension (S.F.S.)™ system provides additional stability by minimizing the secondary impact of off-angle curbs and obstacles. When two independent casters strike an object at different points in time, each feels the impact. But when they are linked, as in the S.F.S.™, the first caster elevates the second caster, significantly reducing the secondary impact. Result: a much smoother ride.



Serviceability



When it comes to servicing a chair, a large percentage of the time is spent accessing the specific components. For this reason, the Quickie Prelude was designed with a quick-release Velcro cover and a Velcro-mounted motor controller, both of which take half the time of screw-mount covers and controllers to remove.

The Quickie Prelude, Quickie Rhapsody, and Quickie Melody all qualify for the Group 2, K0823 coding category. Each chair fills a unique niche in this Group, and all three share common parts. This advantage significantly reduces inventory while simultaneously providing total market coverage.

The Prelude is equipped with a powerful 60 amp controller. Because, getting stuck on a door threshold is never a memorable experience.

Maneuvering through a crowded party is not easy. With the Prelude's swivel seat, it is seldom required. The 360° swivel seat allows users to access people from all quadrants of the compass without moving the chair an inch.

Ordering is never a hassle with the Prelude's simple platform: two colors (red or blue), two seat types (low-back or high-back), and one battery option (with or without chair).

No one likes a whiner, especially when it is a power chair. To insure against whining, the Prelude is outfitted with special low gear-ratio motors that reduce motor noise to a quiet purr.

Standard with every Quickie Prelude is a convenient pouch on the back of the seat.
